Keith Sturmer

Portfolio and Special Assets Manager

As a career veteran with over 35 years of commercial banking experience, Keith is incredibly well suited to serve as our  SBA Portfolio & Special Assets Manager.  Prior to joining Venturus, he handled special assets and workouts for Bank of America, HSBC Bank, Truist Bank, M&T Bank, as well as community banks, working in small business banking as well as middle market and C&I. Keith also obtained corporate experience with stints at Ingram Micro, The Coca Cola Company, Ryder Transportation and American Express.

Keith has 15+ years of experience working specifically in SBA lending; having developed an expertise in portfolio management, special assets and underwriting.

A native of Buffalo, New York, Keith now lives in Atlanta, GA with his wife. He graduated from Canisius University in 1987, with a degree in Economics. 

Fun facts to know about Keith. He comes from a family of musicians, professional music composers and members of regional and internationally renowned bands. Keith is a music fanatic himself, playing bass since he was 10. In his spare time, you can find Keith playing bass and scouring the internet, listening to music of all genres.
