Alicia started her SBA career in 2021 as a contract paralegal consultant for the SBA Office of Disaster Assistance,  providing support during COVID and Hurricane Ida. It was during this tenure where her love for helping small business immediately emanated, confirming her passion for the industry. In 2022, Alicia joined a top 5 SBA volume Lender as a Loan Documentation Specialist where she quickly became a valuable team member, focusing exclusively on loans $25,000 to $150,000.  As an original member of their small loan group she was consistently a top performer – not only for handling a large volume of loans, but also for the quality of her work.

Prior to joining the SBA lending industry, Alicia spent 15 years as paralegal for a small multi-practice law firm, specializing in collections for the Indiana Department of Revenue, bankruptcies, small business startups, estate planning, criminal and family law. This legal background, coupled with her tangible and notable SBA expertise makes her an exceptional fit for Venturus’ Small Loan Credit Analyst, where she will be analyzing financing opportunities under $150,000.

An Indiana native, Alicia loves spending quality time with her husband, three (3) daughters and extended family. She also enjoys reading, collecting vintage inspired Christmas décor, golf cart cruises, live music, listening to true crime podcasts, swimming, repeatedly watching the tv series Friends, and traveling, with England and Ireland in her near future.
