Jennifer “Jenny” Mayer is a Florida-based SBA underwriter with more than seven years of experience delivering disciplined credit analysis and thoughtful deal structuring across SBA 7(a) transactions. Known for her precision and strong analytical instincts, she brings a clear, process-driven approach to every engagement.

As a Senior Credit Analyst, Jenny underwrites complex SBA 7(a) and international trade loans, leading financial analysis, global cash flow assessments, and due diligence from initial review through closing. She works closely with borrowers, lenders, and third parties to ensure efficient execution and full compliance throughout the process.

Her experience spans business acquisitions, debt refinance, working capital, commercial real estate, franchise financing, and international trade. Earlier in her career, she supported high-volume PPP lending efforts and contributed to workflow improvements that enhanced team efficiency and consistency.

Jenny began her career at BayFirst National Bank after earning a degree in Economics, with a minor in Marine Science, from Eckerd College. She is recognized for her independent judgment, attention to detail, and ability to navigate complex credit scenarios with confidence.

Originally from Chicago, Jenny made Florida her permanent home after college. Outside of work, she embraces the state’s outdoor lifestyle and is a certified PADI Rescue Diver—equally comfortable forty feet underwater as she is deep in a credit file. She lives with her husband, their two cats, Minnie and Daphne, and a yellow lab named Abe, and regularly travels back to the Midwest to spend time with family.
