Kari Santiago brings more than 20 years of banking and financial services experience to Venturus, including over 15 years dedicated to SBA lending operations, processing, quality control, compliance, and closing management. As Senior Closer, she plays a critical role in guiding SBA transactions from approval through funding, helping ensure a seamless and efficient experience for borrowers, lenders, and referral partners alike.

Throughout her career, Kari has built a reputation for operational excellence, regulatory expertise, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. She has led SBA processing, closing, and quality control teams for community and national banks, overseeing every stage of the loan lifecycle while maintaining strict adherence to SBA guidelines and compliance standards. Her extensive experience includes SBA 7(a), 504, Express, and Export lending programs, as well as audit preparation, risk management, process improvement, and team development.

Known for her attention to detail and commitment to service, Kari is passionate about helping entrepreneurs access the capital they need to start, grow, and strengthen their businesses. She finds great fulfillment in supporting small business owners as they pursue their goals and create lasting impact within their communities.

Kari earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Administration from Florida State College at Jacksonville. She is bilingual in English and Spanish, allowing her to effectively serve a diverse range of clients and business owners. Outside of work, Kari enjoys traveling and spending time with her family, especially cruising and creating memorable experiences with her two sons.
