Katy brings a decade of experience in banking and small business lending, with a reputation for precision, adaptability, and unwavering client focus. She began her finance career with Key Bank in 2015 as a call center service representative, where she developed a strong foundation in customer service and digital banking support. Her drive and attention to detail quickly led her to the SBA Division, where she advanced from closing Express loans to managing complex SBA 7(a) transactions when she joined The Bancorp in 2021. There, she performed exceptionally well during her 4 year tenure, being promoted to VP, Loan Closing Officer before joining Venturus.

Over the years, Katy has closed a broad spectrum of commercial loans—including SBA 7(a) and 504, conventional, participations, and all types of commercial real estate finance—building a comprehensive understanding of diverse lending products. Her strength lies in her ability to navigate intricate deals with confidence while maintaining a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach.

Katy is also known for her leadership beyond the loan desk. She served as an active member of the Employee Engagement Committee and received a peer-nominated award in recognition of her commitment to teamwork and her willingness to go the extra mile.
Originally from Ohio, Katy relocated to central North Carolina in 2019, bringing with her an optimistic outlook and deep appreciation for building new relationships. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, exploring coastal destinations, scuba diving, and cheering on her favorite NFL team. Katy is happily married and a proud mother of three daughters—and recently embraced the joyful role of grandmother.
