Michael Green

Business Development Officer

Michael brings 30 years of diverse banking experience to his role as SBA Business Development Officer with Venturus. His career has largely revolved around SBA 7(a) and SBA 504 lending in the bustling Metro Atlanta area. With a unique perspective gained from working with the leading CDC for SBA 504 loans in Georgia, he has a deep understanding of how to leverage SBA programs to help small businesses acquire commercial real estate, equipment or any other commercial finance need.

Whether it’s working with a startup or an entrepreneur looking to invest in property, Michael brings patience, flexibility, creativity and commitment to crafting tailored solutions that help clients grow. His career highlights include overseeing ‘The Credit School’ for a major bank and earning ‘Leader of the Year’ recognition at another institution.

Michael is a Howard University graduate in Accounting and is actively involved with the Atlanta Alumni Chapter. He enjoys analyzing financial documents to find opportunities for clients with Georgia and Atlanta economic development programs.

Relationships and community service are priorities for Michael. He has volunteered for over 15 years at The King Center and has received awards for his work with organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Atlanta Missionary Baptist Association.

In his spare time, Michael is an avid cyclist who competes annually in a  40-mile bike ride in NYC and a 25-mile ride in Atlanta.  He also enjoys racquetball, ping pong, and pickleball.  Michael has two children in college and enjoys traveling and music.
