Michael (“Mike”) Crowe

With almost 40 years in banking,  of which 20 + years have been in SBA Lending, Mike remains passionate about helping entrepreneurs access the capital they need to start, stabilize, and grow their businesses. Prior to joining the Venturus team, Mike worked as the SBA Specialist for Heritage Bank, working with the commercial loan officers to offer SBA loan products throughout the greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky market.  In his capacity with Venturus, Mike will expand  our SBA lending activities throughout the region while continuing to serve the financing needs of the local market.

Mike’s extensive career in finance includes prior tenure with Huntington Bank and US Bank, where in 2004, he left to join a Certified Development Company where he spent 17 years representing the SBA 504 Loan Program. While working at the CDC, Mike’s focus was on developing relationships with community and regional banks in expanding the loan program.  After that in 2021, Mike joined Fifth Third Bank, where he specialized in SBA lending, before joining Heritage. Throughout his career, he has worked with a range of small businesses –  from start-ups to third-generation family-run businesses –  securing financing for start-up entities, business acquisitions, working lines of credit, real estate acquisition and development, term notes for equipment and debt consolidation.  

When he isn’t positioning small businesses for success, Mike enjoys residential remodeling and spending time with his wife, two adult children and three canine dependents – two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and a Rottweiler who thinks she’s a Cavalier.
